‘The financial statements posted to the website today represent a detailed and full breakdown and rationalisation of the accounts of Auckland Home Solutions.

They are fully audited, but qualified. This means that the starting point for the accounts, the closing position as at 31^st March 2023, is not in a position to be certified as an accurate view of the financial affairs of AHS.

However, we have written off any questionable elements of that opening position, and applied rigorous standards to any items retained, so our auditors, Hillier Hopkins, are able to have confidence in the closing position as at 31^st March 2024, and have signed them as showing a ‘true and fair view’ of the company affairs.

This puts us on a very solid footing to complete the 2024-25 financial statements, and achieve an unqualified audit opinion for them.
