Coronavirus Update: New National Restrictions

On Monday, 4 January 2021, the Prime Minister announced that new national restrictions will be introduced from midnight in response to rising corona virus cases across the country.

The safety of our partners , tenants and team members remain our top priority. We’re doing everything possible to ensure that we can continue to provide high-quality support to our customers.

We fully understand that many of our tenants may have concerns about people entering their home during the corona virus pandemic. Everyone at Auckland Home Solutions want to work with tenants to address concerns and maintain safety. If you have specific concerns about an appointment, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with your Housing Officer or call us directly on 01915870848

Our staff are now working from home. Our IT and Communications systems fully support Virtual Office operations, there should be no recognisable change to services.

Housing officers are available remotely, and wherever possible will avoid visiting in person. Where in person visits are unavoidable we have supplied PPE and advised colleagues to sanitize their hands regularly, particularly upon entering and leaving premises. We are working with our contractors to ensure they follow similar procedures.

Maintaining the safety of our properties and buildings is a critical service. Safety critical work inside homes will be prioritised during the new coronavirus restrictions being introduced across England. This means that non-essential repairs and improvement work will be postponed, to minimise the need for our staff or contractors to enter tenants homes. All appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) will be used during this essential work.
